Sapphire possesses nice light transmission in 0.20 ~ 5.50μm wave band, is ideal for laser and infrared optical materials. Products widely used in endoscope,watch glass, optical lens, surface acoustic wave filter, military infrared window, optical filter, observation window for high/low temperature and cosmetic instrument windows, etc. We can provide anti-reflection film, high-reflective film, dielectric film, filter film and metallized film services.
Sapphire Balls & drilled balls are largely used in precision measurement, micro-fluid spool, flow-meter ball valve, optical fiber communications and optical lens because of its characteristics of anti-corrosion, wearable and fine transmission.
Sapphire Ball Lenses and Ruby Ball Lenses are both made from Al203. Ruby or Ruby-Doped sapphire owes its red color to traces of chromium oxide (chromium content for ruby balls is typically >0.5%). While their physical and chemical properties are similar, Sapphire has superior optical transmission. Ruby Ball Lenses are easier to see and handle for physical applications. Sapphire Ball Lenses and Ruby Ball Lenses are ideal for improving signal coupling between fibers, emitters, and detectors. They are also used in endoscopy, bar code scanning, ball pre-forms for aspheric lenses, and sensor applications. Sapphire and Ruby Half-Ball Lenses are also available.
